Sapere provides management consulting services to public and investor-owned regional utilities in the Pacific Northwest focused on improving the efficiency of cost obligations such as FERC relicensing, compliance with the Endangered Species Act, and other operation and maintenance needs.

By reducing cost obligations, our clients are able to improve the delivery of their overall service. Our focus is to help our utility clients analyze their plans and determine opportunities for gaining efficiency. To accomplish this, our methods include improving the definition of project objectives, performing systems analysis using tools ranging from simple economic spreadsheet analyses to more sophisticated system dynamics models, decision logic frameworks, and strategies to help our clients manage the risk of making decisions.

Frequently we work as a consultant to the Program Manager or Director in concert with their staff and contractors to help them understand the decisions that need to be made to achieve the efficiencies that result from their refined objectives.
