Background

Marissa Steketee leads Sapere’s Corporate Training and Development Initiative which includes the responsibilities of leading development of internal training programs and ensuring alignment with Business Sector staff needs. Ms. Steketee has worked previously at Coastal Systems International and Project Performance Corporation.

Professional Experience

Ms. Steketee has over 10 years of professional experience aiding clients in effectively identifying, understanding, and resolving issues related to planning and implementation of projects and technical strategies. She has led and contributed to consulting engagements for clients in government agencies, non-profit organizations, public utilities, retail, telecommunications and property development companies. Ms. Steketee has a history of leading multi-disciplinary teams and successfully working with regulatory agencies, engineers, and attorneys to identify common goals and develop project solutions. In addition, as a client delivery manager Ms. Steketee is responsible for managing Sapere Consulting staff, contracts, and projects.

Ms. Steketee holds a B.S. in Environmental Policy & Behavior from the University of Michigan and an M.A. in Marine Affairs and Policy from the University of Miami. She is a certified Project Management Professional and a Six Sigma Green Belt. Her core skill set includes: Project and Program Management; Regulatory and Policy Analysis; Business Process Improvement; and Decision Engineering.
