Background
Shel Clark leads Sapere’s Menlo Park Office and is responsible for mentorship, training and development of the Menlo Park Office consulting staff as well as developing new client relationships and as a client delivery manager for the Energy and Natural Resources Sector. Mr. Clark also serves on the Board of the Arizona Land Trust.
Professional Experience
Mr. Clark has over 26 years of professional experience managing projects involving environmental and natural resource issues for industrial and commercial clients. His focus is on development of economically viable and sustainable environmental solutions. Mr. Clark also has assisted commercial, non-profit, and municipal clients in developing environmental resource management plans including water supply programs and aquifer protection programs and has been retained by clients to provide expert testimony to regulatory agencies and administrative law judges. Before joining Sapere, Mr. Clark was a Vice President of a national engineering firm where he served on a regional leadership team responsible for strategic planning policy and budget development for a professional staff of 75 persons in five offices.
Mr. Clark holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences and has completed post-graduate studies in Geology and Geochemistry at the University of Arizona. His core skill set includes: Project and Program Management; Policy and Regulatory Analysis; and Organizational Strategy.
